Classic Banana Split with a Twist

Satisfy your diners’ sweet tooth with a delicious Banana Split Ice-cream with a twist.  With the surprise twist in the taste, its originality will make their dessert experience fulfilling. Have a go at it by viewing this link:


  • ½ pint of vanilla ice cream

  • ¼ cup of dark or gold rum

  • ¾ cups of Spiced Caramel Syrup Sauce

  • 2 tbsp. of butter (Optional)

  • 2 bananas, cut crosswise and then lengthwise

  • Chocolate sauce for aesthetics

  • Crushed peanuts for decoration,Blackberries, cherries, or other fruits for topping


  1. Set ice cream out to soften, but care for not melting.

  2. Meanwhile, over a pot of boiling water or double boiler, melt Caramel, optional butter and rum together. Stir occasionally until smooth and remove from heat. Keep warm in soft syrup sauce state. 

  3. Scoop ice cream into bowls, arrange bananas, top with fruits, drizzle caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, sprinkle peanuts, and finish with cherries on top. 

  4. Serve immediately.
