Within 30 minutes or less, let’s make a crispy and delicious Tonkatsu, known as Japanese Style Pork Cutlets, with a few ingredients!
Ingredients:
1 cup vegetable oil
0.5 kg boneless pork loin boneless chops
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 large egg or 2 small eggs, beaten
1 cup bread crumbs
Cabbage, Cucumber, Cherry Tomato or Lime cut for plating
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Tonkatsu sauce, for serving
Cooking and Preparation:
Heat vegetable oil in a large coated pan over medium high heat.
Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
Flour pork chops, dip into egg, then coat with bread crumbs.
Put pork chops to the pan one (at most 2 or 3 piece at a time) and cook until evenly golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
Serve immediately with rice and tonkatsu sauce, and plate with cabbage, cucumber if desired.
