Walnut Pesto



  • 2 Cups Fresh Basil Leaves

  • 2 Cloves Garlic

  • 1/3 Cup Walnuts

  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper


  1. Remove the stems from your basil and add the leaves to the bowl of your food processor. 

  2. Add the peeled garlic cloves, along with the walnuts, cheese, salt, and pepper. 

  3. Place the lid on your food processor, lock into place, and give your basil mixture about five good pulses.

  4. After you pulse a few times you will notice that you have a very coarse mixture of finely chopped basil, garlic, walnuts, and chees.

  5. Enjoy stirred into hot pasta or on toasted bread croutes .
