The combination of milk tea and fresh-brewed coffee, is a popular coffee and tea drink in Hong Kong. It is sweet and creamy in the mixture of coffee and tea milk for fresh taste and energizing. It is sold by many vendors with their own secret recipe. So,let's check the recipe of popular Yuan Yang with general flavor of this extraordinary beverage.
Ingredients for milk tea:
1 cup of water
2 tablespoons black leaves OR Celyon tea leave
Either 14 ounce can of sweeten condensed milk OR 14 ounce can of evaporated milk with sugar OR real milk with sugar
Ingredients(To make coffee with tea):
1 cup Rioba Coffee Bean 100% Arabica, brewed extra strong
1 cup milk tea
Instructions( for milk tea):
Put water and tea leave in a small saucepan an over medium heat.
Bring to a low boil and reduce heat. And then, simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Remove from heat. Stir in sweeten condensed milk.
Return to heat and boil again. And simmer for 3 more minutes.
Instructions(To make coffee with tea):
Mix the coffee and milk tea well. (1:1 ratio of coffee to milk tea)
Pour into small glasses.
Serve hot, or chill and serve over ice.
Note:Based on the taste you or your customer like, you can make less coffee and more tea or more coffee and less tea, with 7:3 ratio of tea to coffee or coffee to tea.
